The Springfield NAACP posted on its Fb web page that Monday’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day March will go on whatever the climate.

The Nationwide Climate Service stated about an inch of snow is feasible Monday morning and temperatures can be within the 20s.

The march begins at 9 a.m. at Mediacom Ice Park.

Organizers of the native march are amassing socks, hats and gloves for college-age youngsters. They may also acquire diapers for the diaper financial institution.

The trail for the march is down the Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge and over to the Gillioz Theatre, the place there shall be a program featuring a variety of speakers and musical performances.

For those wishing to attend the program but skip the march, the Gillioz Theatre will open at 8:30 a.m.
